"Sometimes fleeting moments stamp themselves into your memory and change in an instant the way you see the world. That is what happened to me when I stood in awe on the side of the road, at the top of the summit and witnessed the miracle of Mother Earth’s perfection on a cold and clear night. It was as if the I saw an unfolding of space reach down to touch the mountains and lake. It was as if earth and sky were having an intimate conversation and I was its quiet observer. It was so brief, but I could see the story of a thousand years.
